we spent the day at the beach. it was really sunny and filled with people and i almost went berzerk trying to get into a parking spot on the slope of a narrow street with a big shitbox waiting for me to move so they could pass by. there were gross fat sand fleas hopping around making me itch and i stepped on a sharp clam shell and hurt my foot. it was still loads of fun.

last night i stayed late at work (unpaid) to help the bosslady with one of the insane tasks we haven't been able to tackle properly during open hours. it was kind of fun, she's pretty alright and i only worked a 4 hour shift so it wasn't like i'd been there all day and was sore and tired or anything. i bought a mini skateboard for the shrimp and then my mom picked me up and we went grocery shopping. they moved everything around at my favorite giant grocery store and i couldn't find the guacamole mix to save my life. i think i might get adventurous and make it from scratch. baskin robbins has the best ice cream flavor of all time, it's called hokey pokey, has thick ribbons of caramel and chunks of honeycomb candy in it. a double scoop in waffle cone rocks me. seriously. i had a dream last night my cat ran away and i had to check to make sure she was still here this morning. i get scared sometimes that shitty dreams are premonitions of sorts, and she's been really interested in the screens in the windows lately. she's still here. i'm glad, i love her.
